     Milo is a lousy magician, a total mess.  He's been given and ultimatum: pull a rabbit our of a hat on your next show or you're fired.  Trying to catch a rabbit he comes across a bear who knows how to disappear inside a hat.  Milo's show is a success and all goes well until the bear needs to hibernate.
     This is the kind of book that just makes you smile.  The illustrations have a timeless feeling to them.  There's a hilarious part of the book when Milo's hat is misplaced and the bear pops up in the middle of a restaurant...very memorable!  One of my favorite books. The illustration and the story are just perfect.
